What is a Newborn Care Specialist?

A newborn care professional is specifically trained to take care of all the needs of a newborn. From the first day of the baby's life, a NCS is able to assist, and educate the parents to always help in maintaining a healthy environment. This includes develpoing a healthy sleep and feeding routine for the baby throughout the day, and with the necessary needs for the baby's development over the weeks ahead.

What services does a NCS provide?

  • Assistance and education for parents from the first day of the baby at home

  • Sleep training

  • Sleep conditioning

  • Help with breastfeeding/bottle feeding

  • Bathing and dressing routine

  • Log sleep maintenance, eating, and diaper changing patterns
